PETER J WALLERS – Professional Artist, Tauranga, New Zealand.

Born in Auckland, Peter was educated at Auckland Boys Grammar and attended Auckland Technical Institute where he trained as a Graphic Artist.

Painting professionally since 1973, exhibiting  throughout New Zealand .

Mainly self taught, Peter is a dedicated traditional Artist. His distinct style has been described as clean, crisp and strong. Painting mainly in Oils, but enjoying working in other mediums, pencil, gouache, chalk pastel and acrylic. His speciality is in landscape and coastal scenes.

His work is currently included in 3 Art Publications compiled by Denis Robinson. These Art Books include:

  • “New Zealand’s Favourite Artists #2”
  • “New Zealand Canvas” and
  • “Artists Impressions of New Zealand”

In 2014 Peter celebrated his 40th year painting professionally.

He is available for both corporate and private commissions.

Peter now lives and works from his Studio in Matua, Tauranga, in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.
